Continuing Medical Education (CME) Credit Program

Continuing Medical Education (CME) Credit Program

1. Purpose & Scope

WOCS offers officially accredited CME / Continuing Education Credits for participating in our stem cell workshops and training programs. These credits are intended to recognize the formal educational contributions of participating institutions and professionals in the field of stem cell science, therapy, and regulation.

2. Accreditation & Legal Basis

Each workshop or training event is backed by an official decree or regulation (e.g. a “Decree / SK”) issued by the appropriate accrediting authority. The decree number, issuing body, and validity period will be clearly displayed for each training event organized under WOCS.

3. Eligibility & Participants

  • The CME credits are available for physicians, researchers, clinical practitioners, laboratory scientists, and other allied health professionals involved in stem cell science and therapy.

  • Participants must attend all required sessions, complete assessments (if applicable), and fulfill attendance requirements to receive credits.

4. Credit Allocation

  • Credit Hours: The number of credits awarded depends on the total instructional hours and learning content of the workshop.

  • Classification: Credits may be categorized (e.g. basic, advanced, or specialized courses) based on the level of content.

  • Reporting: After the event, participants may request an official certificate citing the number of CME credits earned, along with reference to the associated decree number.

5. Certificate of Completion

After fulfilling all requirements, participants will receive a CME Certificate which includes:

  • Participant’s name and professional title

  • Workshop title and date

  • Number of CME credits awarded

  • Decree / SK number & issuing authority

  • Signature of WOCS authorized official

6. Reporting to Professional Bodies

Participants are responsible for submitting their CME certificates to their national medical councils or licensing bodies, if required. The displayed decree / SK ensures the certificate’s recognition under national regulatory frameworks.

7. Renewal & Validity

CME credit awards are valid for the period specified in the decree / SK. Workshops organized after the expiration date must be re-accredited via a new decree or extension.
